Janette Ledea
Impact Trainer
Prior to becoming a Realtor, I worked with the San Gabriel Pomona Regional Center as a Service Coordinator, assisting in obtaining and securing community resources to individuals with developmental disabilities, families and care providers. Once I departed from my position, I collaborated with a state grant project through Department of Developmental Disability (DDS) to downsize adult residential facilities (ARF) for the developmentally disabled and licensing process with Community Care Licensing. Currently, I assist care providers with purchasing existing facilities or new homes and guide them through the licensing process. Besides licensing ARF, I also license RCFE (Residential Care Facilities for the Elderly). I have also worked in partnership with California Developmental Disabilities Services Consumer Advisory Committee through Board Resource Center on projects that support self-advocacy, choice, independence and emergency preparedness. My focus has been to build an individual’s skills, enhance their personal network, and help them to develop the steps to reach their personal life goals.
Using my knowledge of person-centered practices, I have dedicated my time to providing customer service, support, and guidance. My clients’ satisfaction is best demonstrated by their repeat business and referrals. I am constantly educating myself on the newest market trends, economy, needs and latest technology to ensure that people are making the choices that best fit the life they hope to have.
