Renee Manfredi

“I believe God put me on a path to learn to have a voice. It is really important to find your voice and to use it. It is really important to be seen and heard. I hope I can help others find their voice.” 

Renee Manfredi is a self-advocate who supports individuals to build their advocacy skills, have a voice and a life they want.

Currently Renee works as an Impact Trainer for Tammy Evrard Consulting & as a paid consultant for Inclusive Health & Unified Leadership for Special Olympics International. She is also a member of the Self-Advocate Leadership Circle for the National Association of Councils on Developmental Disabilities. Renee sits as a current Chair of the Participants Council on a 5-year grant with Shirley Ryan Abilities Labs, giving guidance as they create measurements for Home & Community Based Services. She is also on the Advisory Committee for the Valuable 500, is an advisor to the American Public Health Association, as well as an advisor for 2 Global Inclusive Health Committees for Special Olympics International.

Renee is a Public Speaker, a Health Messenger for Special Olympics, a Special Olympics Texas athlete & a former Sargent Shriver International Global Messenger. She is also a Toastmaster & a singer. Renee is a former President of the Hawaii Self Advocacy Advisory Council and a former member of the Hawai’i State Council on Developmental Disabilities.

Renee’s passions are singing, Star Wars, Disney, & helping others on their self-advocacy journeys.
