Olaf Luevano
Program Specialist
Olaf is a passionate advocate for civic involvement and inclusive programming that supports underserved populations and individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities. He is the Chairperson of the Parks & Recreation Commission in Montebello, California, playing a critical role in shaping local recreational policies and initiatives that enhance the quality of life for residents of all ages. His focus is on ensuring that public spaces are safe, accessible, and inclusive. He is also a committed member of the Community Emergency Response Team (CERT), where he educates and mobilizes residents to be better prepared for emergencies, demonstrating his belief in proactive public safety and community resilience
He was the previous Program Director and Job Developer of Ritz Vocational, leading an employment readiness program, developing vocational training curriculum, and successfully placing numerous individuals served by the regional center in meaningful employment opportunities. His work not only empowered individuals but also strengthened connections between vocational programs and local businesses. He currently serves as a Coordinator of Community Outreach at Ritz FMS, a role he began in November 2024.
Olaf also served on the Vendor Advisory Committee for the San Gabriel Pomona Regional Center, representing Vocational Day Programs and advocating for quality services, ensuring compliance with state standards, and addressing the evolving needs of individuals with disabilities and their families.
Olaf is the Program Specialist for Tammy Evrard Consulting, where he contributes his expertise in developing innovative programs and facilities tailored specifically for people with developmental and intellectual disabilities. His involvement includes providing guidance in development of program designs, navigating licensing processes, and advising on care models that promote independence and dignity.
His ability to balance multiple roles speaks to his dedication, resilience, and deep sense of purpose.
