I was born on November 27th 1994 at Queen of the Valley hospital in West Covina. My mom was 26 weeks pregnant when she went into labor with me. I weighed 1 pound 11 ounces and my height was 13 ½ inches. The doctors told my parents that I was not going to make it. I had to be put into an incubator because I was not healthy enough to breathe on my own. I had a lot of complications and surgeries on my heart, stomach and eyes. I had a grade four hemorrhage on the right side of my brain that caused me to have cerebral palsy. I was in the hospital for 3 ½ months after I was born. I was baptized in the hospital and I am grateful to be alive. Nothing is going to stop me.
