My mom does not live with me in California, she lives in Arizona. I visit her and I also have other family in Arizona so I get to see them when I visit. My mom moved to Arizona because of my grandparents. My papa got sick and passed away from brain and lung cancer. My nana got sick and also passed away from dementia. My grandparents were married for 63 years. Before my papa passed away, my grandparents had their last kiss and my mom said “their love still lasts”. My mom moved to Arizona to support them, and spend more time with them. Now we think about the fun and good times with my grandparents and it makes us feel better.
