Question: How did you teach your daughter about colors?
Answer: Sounds like an easy question but my daughter did not do well with flash cards or crayons. She was a kinetic learner. This means I had to pair physical activity with learning and make it a game. We made our own color cue cards 8×10. The game was a race. I showed a card. She ran around the house collecting three items that were the same color. As she ran around I would say “Purple” and she would have to repeat what I said. She used her mobility skills, auditory, vocalization, sight, and hearing.
