Question: Can I use my consulting hours for my consultant to attend quarterly meetings?

Answer: Please keep in mind the consultant hours should be used directly for the individual. Since there are limited number of hours per month per client, it is important to evaluate how the hours can be used. Primary areas for use of the hours include: observations, review of documentation, staff training, meeting with client, review of medications, 30 day review meeting and annual review. If there are changes in the clients behavior, health, physical abilities, life – then a team meeting with the consultant should be arranged to discuss and make modifications to the treatment plan as needed.
